PolitePost

PolitePost is a free web tool that takes a rough, casual draft of an email and rewrites it into polished, professional language suitable for the workplace. A user types out their message however it first comes to mind, and the AI reworks the wording and tone so it reads as respectful and clear before it goes out. The site also has a ConcisePost mode aimed at producing shorter, more tightly structured versions of the same message, and a Microsoft Word add-in that brings the same rewriting feature directly into a document a user is already working on, rather than requiring a separate browser tab. There's no account setup or learning curve involved — a person pastes in text and gets a rewritten version back, typically within about 20 seconds. The tool runs on Together.ai's inference service for the underlying language model calls, and the site notes that processing each email costs a fraction of a cent, which is how it can offer the service for free without subscriptions or premium tiers. Because PolitePost only rewrites the tone and phrasing of a draft a person has already written, it doesn't help with drafting an email from scratch or with non-email formats like social posts or long documents.
