HeyHaddock

HeyHaddock was an AI-first travel planning app that generated personalized trip itineraries based on a traveler's stated interests. Instead of manually researching a destination, users described what kind of trip they wanted and received AI-suggested events, hidden local spots, and activities matched to their preferences, aimed at making the early planning stage faster and less overwhelming than assembling an itinerary from scratch. The app also supported group planning, letting users invite friends into a shared trip so a group could coordinate plans and see suggestions together rather than passing links back and forth. Over the course of its operation, the team said the app was used to create more than 6,000 trips worldwide. HeyHaddock shut down on September 1, 2025. Its website now shows a farewell notice rather than a working product, thanking former users and directing questions to the founding team, who said they were moving on to a new venture, ElatoAI, focused on open-source AI voice hardware and developer kits. Because the service is no longer operating, it is included here for historical reference only; anyone looking for an active alternative should note that its itinerary-generation and group-trip features are no longer available in any form.
