Roamaround (Layla.ai)
AI trip planner that builds itineraries with live pricing and bookings.
About Roamaround (Layla.ai)
Layla is an AI-powered trip-planning service, built by Layla AI GmbH, that generates personalized itineraries from user input on destinations, travel dates, budget, and preferences. It compares live prices across flights, hotels, trains, and activities through partnerships with Skyscanner, Booking.com, Viator, and GetYourGuide, and lets users adjust day-by-day plans, budgets, or specific activities as their trip takes shape. The platform includes dedicated planning modes for families, couples, and solo travelers, plus access to human travel experts for bookings or itinerary changes that need a personal touch. The product traces back to Roam Around, an early AI itinerary generator that had produced more than 10 million trip plans; Roam Around was acquired by Layla in 2024, and its founder and team joined the company. Layla combines that itinerary-generation heritage with live pricing and booking integrations, aiming to go beyond a static list of suggestions toward a plan a traveler can actually book. Layla is offered as a web app with companion iOS and Android apps. Free trip-planning tools are available, and a paid tier at $49 per year unlocks unlimited access to premium planning features. Because pricing pulls from third-party booking partners, quoted rates may shift by the time a user completes a purchase elsewhere.
