AI Map

AI Map is a navigation app that lets people search for places by describing what they want in plain language instead of typing a keyword or category into a search box. The developer calls this approach "Descriptive Navigation": a user's request is interpreted by AI, which returns a ranked list of nearby results along with a short explanation of why each place matches the request. Example prompts on the developer's own site include finding good crabbing spots or a place to go stargazing, showing the tool is built around open-ended, activity-based searches rather than fixed categories like "restaurants" or "gas stations." The app targets people who want quick, personalized suggestions for restaurants, landmarks, and other points of interest without browsing a traditional map grid or reading through generic review listings. It is available on both iOS and Android, is free to download, and offers an optional premium subscription for additional features. The public site does not break down what the premium tier unlocks beyond the free search experience, and no founding year or parent company details are published, so some aspects of the product's history and full feature set remain unclear from the available material.
