Chat Thing

Chat Thing is a no-code platform for building AI chatbots trained on a business's own content. Users connect sources like their website, Notion pages, PDFs, FAQs, or YouTube videos, and the resulting bot can answer customer questions, look up information such as order status, and take other simple actions defined by the business. It supports over 50 languages and can be deployed as a website widget or through Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, and Telegram, as well as accessed via API. The platform runs on models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Mistral, and includes analytics for tracking conversations, options for matching the bot's appearance to a brand, and a live handoff feature so a human team member can take over a conversation the moment the AI reaches its limits. Chat Thing states that customer data is never used to train its underlying AI models. Pricing scales from a Basic plan up through Enterprise, with higher tiers unlocking SDK and API access. Setup is designed to take a few minutes without a developer, though bots are still bounded by what's in the connected content, so gaps in the source material will show up as gaps in the bot's answers.
