Whisper Memos

Whisper Memos is a voice-recording app for iPhone and Apple Watch that turns spoken thoughts into transcribed, formatted text within seconds. Recording can start with a single tap on the phone or hands-free through an Apple Watch complication or the phone's Action Button, and the app can also transcribe imported audio files (MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, FLAC) up to 100 MB. Transcription runs on a choice of models, OpenAI Whisper, ElevenLabs Scribe, and Cohere Transcribe, which the developer reports achieve 90-97% accuracy across multiple languages. Beyond raw transcription, the app can email a formatted summary of each recording using a custom prompt, trigger lock-screen reminders from a spoken "remind me to..." command, and route different memos to different destinations through named automation workflows called Agents. Built-in integrations include Notion, Reflect, Trello, Things 3, Drafts, iCloud, Todoist, Day One, and Evernote, with Mail Drop and Zapier support for connecting to many more apps. The app is built and supported by a single indie developer, Vojtech Rinik, who also handles customer support personally. It costs $60 a year, positioned as cheaper than alternatives like Otter.ai or Granola, though as a one-person operation its support capacity and roadmap depend on a single person rather than a team.
