Mureka

Mureka is an AI music generation platform that turns text prompts, mood descriptions, or user-written lyrics into complete songs, including melody, harmony, rhythm, and vocals. Users describe a genre, tempo, or instrumentation, or paste lyrics they want set to music, and the system produces a finished track — reportedly within 30 to 120 seconds — along with instrumental-only versions. Vocals include pitch variation and breath sounds, with a choice of male or female voice. Tracks can be downloaded as MP3 or WAV, and paid plans add stem exports and voice cloning. The tool targets independent musicians, YouTube and podcast creators, social media influencers, and game developers who need custom music without a production background or studio budget. The Basic plan ($8/month billed annually) allows up to 400 songs or 200 minutes of speech per month with commercial licensing, while the Pro plan raises those limits and adds advanced editing and voice cloning. The current model, Mureka V9, supports more than 50 styles and over ten languages, and a separate developer API platform is offered for building on top of the generation engine. One limitation: because output is generated from short text descriptions rather than detailed musical scoring, users have limited fine-grained control over structure compared to traditional composition or DAW-based production.
