MusicTGA is an iPhone app from Amadeus Code Inc. that uses AI to generate MIDI for chord progressions, melodies and rhythms. It is built as a composition aid: when you are stuck on a first chord progression or want to try several ideas quickly, it produces MIDI sketches that you take into a DAW and finish yourself. You steer generation with beat and mood settings, and for melodies you can adjust the pitch range and note length. The app is aimed at producers, DTM users and track makers who write a lot of music, including people on deadline-driven client projects or competitions. Amadeus Code states that all generated MIDI is owned by the user and can be used commercially, including for distribution, sales, social media and video. The company says its music tools are built on in-house training data. What sets MusicTGA apart from most AI music tools is that it does not output finished audio. You get editable MIDI, so arrangement, instruments and mix stay in your hands. The free plan covers generation and saving ideas, while the paid Creator Studio plan adds unlimited MIDI downloads and separate melody, harmony and rhythm exports. The limitation is the same as the design: you get sketches, not songs, so you still need a DAW and production skills to finish a track.
