About ClipNow
ClipNow is an AI video editor that turns long recordings, such as podcasts or webinars, into short clips formatted for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. After a video is uploaded, its AI analyzes the content to find key moments and automatically produces multiple short clips, a process that typically takes around five minutes rather than hours of manual editing. The editing itself is broken into modular AI steps: automatic cropping and resizing for vertical formats, caption generation the company describes as around 99% accurate, face-tracking to keep a speaker centered in frame, and music suggestions. It's aimed at content creators, social media managers, agencies, and businesses that need to repurpose long-form video into a steady stream of short clips without editing each one by hand. Plans start at $60 a month. One honest tradeoff: because the pipeline is automated end to end, users get fast, ready-made clips rather than the fine-grained manual control of a traditional video editor, and the starting price sits above many free short-form editing tools.
