StoryTok

StoryTok is an AI tool that converts Reddit posts and user-uploaded clips into narrated, captioned vertical videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Users paste a Reddit post URL and the tool narrates the text using AI voice, adds word-timed captions, and lays the narration over background gameplay footage in 1080x1920 format at 60 frames per second. An Autopilot mode can automatically find popular Reddit posts, rewrite them as scripts, and render videos on a recurring schedule without manual input. The platform also offers an Auto Captions tool for uploaded clips, a Splitscreen layout that places user footage above gameplay, and AI Highlights, which extracts short clips from longer recordings such as podcasts or livestreams. Paid users can upload their own custom background footage instead of using the built-in gameplay clips. StoryTok targets content creators who want faceless, automated video production without hiring an editor. StoryTok uses a pay-as-you-go credit system rather than a subscription, with packages starting at $5 for 20 minutes of rendered video and credits that do not expire; a small free trial is also available. The site does not disclose who built the tool, when it was founded, or whether a public API exists.
