SoraWebui

SoraWebui is an open-source web interface built to generate videos from text prompts using OpenAI's Sora model. It provides a simple front end — type a description, click generate — along with a playground and a gallery of example videos, and it supports one-click deployment plus Google account login for anyone who wants to run their own instance of the site. Because OpenAI has not made the real Sora model or its API broadly available to this project, SoraWebui's own documentation says it relies on a self-built mock, FakeSoraAPI, to simulate Sora's expected behavior for development and testing. This is an important limitation: video output through the public site should be understood as a demonstration of the interface rather than genuine Sora-generated video, and the project describes itself as waiting for OpenAI to release real API access before that gap can close. SoraWebui is aimed at developers and website owners who want to deploy a Sora-style video generation front end themselves, as well as people curious to try the interface while a real Sora API remains unavailable to the project. The code is hosted on GitHub, and the project is free and open source.
