Real or Fake Text

Real or Fake Text is an interactive game that challenges players to distinguish between text written by humans and text generated by AI. Users select from multiple categories including Short Stories, New York Times articles, Recipes, and Presidential Speeches, then attempt to identify which passages were written by computers. The game tests user ability to recognize patterns and stylistic differences that reveal AI authorship, with each category containing hundreds of available passages. The tool tracks performance through a leaderboard system and allows players to save their progress. One limitation is that the detection task becomes increasingly challenging as AI writing quality improves, potentially making it harder to maintain a reliable difficulty curve.
