## Overview
Notebooker.ai is a knowledge tool positioned as an alternative to Google's NotebookLM. It lets users save links, PDFs, audio, and video from a browser, phone, or webhook, then search across everything and ask questions that come back with cited answers and source coverage metrics rather than plain generated text. Built-in personas such as Professor, Critic, Debate, and Beginner's Guide let a user approach the same material from different angles, and the tool can turn saved sources into podcasts, flashcards with spaced repetition and Anki export, mindmaps, infographics, or short textbooks.

What sets it apart from a typical AI notebook is its control model: users bring their own API keys from providers like OpenAI or Anthropic, or use local models, so they choose which AI actually reads their notes; they can also point storage at any S3-compatible bucket, including R2, Spaces, or AWS, so the data lives outside Notebooker's own servers. The company states it does not train models on saved content or sell data to third parties. A documented REST API supports integrations, and Claude or other MCP clients can connect via OAuth.

The product is free to try without a card, though detailed pricing tiers are not published on the homepage, so ongoing costs at scale are unclear.
