Motiff

Motiff was an AI-native UI design platform, operated by Motiff PTE. LTD., that generated production-ready interface designs from several kinds of input, including text prompts, uploaded images, PDFs, and markdown documents. Rather than treating AI as a bolt-on feature, Motiff built it into the core editing flow: the tool could produce full design systems, create component variants from written descriptions, auto-fill layouts with realistic content, and suggest layout improvements or design critiques directly inside the canvas. Users could choose between design-system presets like Minimalist, Material Design, Ant Design, and shadcn/ui, refine specific elements with targeted AI edits, and export finished work as clean React or HTML code or into other design tools. The editor was built to handle very large files, reportedly supporting smooth editing of a canvas with a million layers, and it supported real-time collaboration for teams working in the browser. Motiff was aimed at UX/UI designers, front-end developers, product managers, and non-designers who wanted to turn ideas into interface mockups quickly. As of this research, Motiff has been discontinued. The homepage now displays a notice that the service has shut down, with data export available only until October 31, 2026, and no reason for the closure was given on the site.
