HeyPhoto is a free web-based photo editor from Icons8 focused on editing facial features in selfies and group photos. Rather than general-purpose editing tools like crop or filters, it offers a set of narrow, single-purpose face edits: changing where someone's eyes appear to look, adjusting how much someone appears to be smiling, shifting perceived age older or younger, changing perceived gender presentation, and altering facial expressions to match a different mood. It also includes an anonymize tool that alters a face enough to make it harder for automated face-recognition systems to identify, which the site positions as a privacy feature for people who want to share photos without being easily recognized by such systems. Icons8 lists several more features as coming soon, including skin tone adjustment, nose reshaping, face reshaping, and makeup and hairstyle changes. The tool accepts JPG, PNG, and WEBP images up to 5MB and up to 1024x1024 pixels for the face region, and returns results at the original photo's quality and dimensions. It requires no design skill and no account for basic use, but free results carry a watermark. HeyPhoto is aimed at casual users making quick edits for social media or dating app photos rather than professional photo retouchers, and no dedicated API is offered for the tool itself.
