Hexowatch is a website monitoring tool from Hexact, the same company behind Hexomatic, that watches pages for changes across 13 different detection types, including visual layout, text content, HTML source code, keywords, technology stack, availability, pricing, and domain WHOIS records. When it detects a change, it automatically archives a screenshot and sends an alert, building a visual history of how a page evolved over time. Users can tune how often a page is checked and how sensitive the detection is, which helps cut down on false alerts from minor, unimportant changes. Typical use cases include recruiters tracking new job postings, e-commerce teams watching competitor pricing and stock availability, real estate professionals following listing changes, and security teams watching for unauthorized defacement or tampering on their own sites. The service also supports legal and compliance archiving, since captured snapshots can serve as a dated record of a page's contents. Hexowatch says it is used by more than 150,000 businesses and offers paid plans starting around $29 a month, with a free trial available. A limitation shared by all page-monitoring tools is that heavily dynamic or JavaScript-rendered pages can occasionally produce noisy or inconsistent change detection compared to simpler static pages.
