Frontender

Frontender is a Figma plugin that turns selected design layers into production-ready front-end code, acting like an AI junior developer for the handoff between design and development. Inside a Figma file, a user selects one or more layers with the plugin open, and Frontender generates code that matches the design, detecting node types such as buttons, inputs, textareas, headings, forms, and links along the way. It handles complex visual details like gradients, fill opacity, and blurs, and it does not require Figma's auto-layout or a perfectly organized file — it is built to interpret messy, real-world design files. Output formats include HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, JSX, and code compatible with Next.js, React, Vue, and Svelte, and Tailwind users can choose between Frontender's closest matching utility classes or exact arbitrary values. The tool is aimed at front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams who want to skip manually rebuilding a design in code, and the company reports more than 5,000 developers across 30-plus countries use it. Frontender is made by Hubition, a company based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. It follows a freemium model: up to 15 free conversions per month are available with no account required, with a paid plan removing that limit and adding further features.
