Checksub

Checksub is a video localization platform that automates subtitling, translation, and dubbing so creators can publish content in multiple languages without manual work. It transcribes a video's audio automatically, translates the resulting subtitles into more than 200 languages, and can also generate dubbed audio tracks in over 30 languages using voice cloning to keep a speaker's original voice character and lip-sync alignment during playback. Additional tools include voice isolation, which separates spoken dialogue from background music or noise before translation, an editor for manually adjusting generated subtitles and audio, and styling options such as animated captions, karaoke-style highlighting, and burned-in subtitles for platforms that don't support separate subtitle files. It also supports generating subtitles directly from an existing script rather than only from raw audio, keeping timing synchronized to the video. Checksub offers an API for integrating its subtitling and dubbing pipeline into other products, and the company states it has processed over 153,000 videos for more than 500 companies. It is backed in part by European public funding and participates in the NVIDIA Inception Program. The platform offers a free trial limited to one hour of video translation, after which paid plans are needed to continue.
