Aurascape

Aurascape is an AI security platform built for enterprises that need visibility into how employees, agents, and copilots interact with AI systems. It automatically discovers AI applications in use across an organization, including shadow AI that IT never approved, and analyzes prompts and responses in real time to score risk and detect sensitive data exposure. A newer Zero-Bypass MCP Gateway extends this coverage to Model Context Protocol connections, letting security teams inspect and govern traffic between AI agents and the tools they call. The platform is aimed at security and IT teams responsible for governing AI adoption inside larger companies, not individual consumers. It enforces policies based on user role and context, tests AI agents for vulnerabilities before they reach production, and produces natural-language summaries of AI activity so non-technical stakeholders can follow what is happening. Aurascape says it currently secures visibility into more than 20,000 AI applications and lists customers such as US Express and USC. Aurascape launched publicly in 2025 with $50 million in funding from investors including Mayfield Fund and Menlo Ventures, and is backed by security veterans from Palo Alto Networks. Pricing is not published, and as an enterprise security product it is sold through direct engagement rather than self-serve signup, a limitation for smaller teams wanting to try it quickly.
